Astrological Note for July 2019

 

The month of July is very interesting. We have many aspects going on in this month. For starters, we have two new moons, and we also have a mercury retrograde. So let's start with the eclipses. Eclipses will bring hidden things to the light:

 

1. July 2, is a new moon Solar Eclipse at 11° Cancer: This is about opening new paths, fresh starts, new experiences.

 

2. July 31, there's a new moon in Leo: This is strictly about new projects. However, this moon conjuncts Venus, squares Uranus, but is in the constellation of Cancer. All I can say is patience and cooperation is necessary here.

 

3. July 16, is a Lunar Eclipse at 24° Capricorn: The Eclipse also brings instant, dramatic change. Depending on your astrological sign and how close it is to the 24° of Capricorn, the more difficult the task is going to be.

 

4. July 7-31, Mercury retrograde: We are all familiar with the retrograde aspect--what can go wrong will go wrong that is of mechanical and technological nature. However, if you are working on an ongoing project, it will succeed in this period. But if you will start something new, DELAY IT. DON'T sign anything to do with contracts, DON'T buy new appliances, or new anything. DON'T start anything new!

January 21, 2019 is a total Lunar Eclipse and a

Super Moon 
 

This moon is to transform what is no longer working. This moon is also known as the Wolf Moon. The wolf thrive during this lean month.

​

This Blood Moon brings uncertainty and rebellion. But with rebellion comes change also opportunity. Unexpected events and news will cause anxiety and uncertainty about the future. Things will appear to be more hectic and fast paced than before. 
This Lunar eclipse will be in an area where the stars are darker. But brighter stars will align with the sun, helping you to find confidence and courage to accept changes.

Patience, self control, adaptability, an open mind will aid you to see advantages and new opportunities. This Lunar eclipse is similar to the full moon but much stronger. It will focus attention on your emotions, intimate relationships, home and family. So what seems bleak in our lives is a time for opportunity.

With this moon you will have the opportunity to reset your emotions and clear away the extra baggage of the past 6 months. Take a pause in this lunar time to contemplate your own inner wisdom.

 

 

Upcoming Celestial Phenomenon

On January 21, 2019, we will have a super moon and the blood moon that will coincide and this will be the only event for this year (the blood moon is a total lunar eclipse) and there will not be another one until 2021. This will be visible in North and South America, Western Parts of Europe and Africa.

​

The best way to see this super moon will be through binoculars!

July 27-31, 2018

Eclipses are a wild card. It is all about changes moving you forward. A major turning point. Once we go through an eclipse we can never go back to the former situation again. That option is taken away. With an eclipse the only way is forward.

​

How? Making changes up ahead (future choices). Changes can be experienced instantly or over a period of time, depending on your sign.

​

So based on that, for our purposes, it is imperative that you meditate during this eclipse and be clear with your intentions.

Note: Let’s not forget Mercury - his visibility in our sky has been around since June and will end July 31.

This Last Blue Moon, March 31, 2018

​

There were two phases of this moon. The first one (worm moon), it is believed that worms make their appearance in the spring; the second has to do with sap and that is when the sap weeps from maple trees. But for our intentions, the sap moon's light can be used to charge your crystals and bless a few magical tools. Get ready to banish the negative presence from your life when the moon begins to wane. 

The next blue moon is not until 2020!

Moon of January 31, 2018

 
This moon is very powerful. We might not see the likes of it again – not in our lifetime.

It is at 11 deg  Leo;
Currently in Aquarius, ruler of the 11th House of Zodiac.
2018 is an “11” – Universal Year.
So we have 11-11-11
This moon was rare. It represented 3 major celestial events:
              Supermoon, Blue Moon and Total Eclipse (a powerful lunation).
